wonder where ken miles car is now if still exists, what a great piece of history to own and how many millions would it be worth
If I can build a new house and the planning dept let us build it big enough there certainly will be a cinema room and a snooker room. If they don't let us then I'll have to knock up some external fancy sheds to do the same.
I prefer to watch films in the comfort of my own home.
you simply cant beat the experience on the big screen though
If I was to change anything the paint in the room needs to be darker, but then it becomes unusable for anything else.
Our screen occupies pretty much more of the visual field than our local, but, of course, you sit a lot closer.
no problem, just become a goth
, hadn't thought of it that way
Simple physics.
I bought a benq 1080p projector earlier in the year , not got round to setting it up yet.
I've built a room on the back of the house, it was going to be a conservatory but ended up with one of those warm roofs on it so I'm hoping it's dark enough with just the blinds
might be simple for you, however...…………………...
Agreed and that is already in the future plan if requiredif the local authority wont let you build it big enough and they haven't removed your permitted development rights then simply build an extension under PD rights when house is almost substantially complete and whilst builders still there, you can build fairly big extensions and outbuildings under permitted development rights, you don't need full planning permission just a certificate of lawfulness
Very nice and I am sure you are right with the sound. You can get a nice home cinema set up for not silly money these days. Good work youWe are fortunate to have our own cinema upstairs. After the summer's upgrade (including the drive to Cheshire for the new speakers), I was watching a moving thinking 'The sound alone is better than our local, but I won't say that because I must be imagining it'
3 minutes later Mrs C turns to me and says 'This sound better than the Cineworld, don't you think?"

Went and saw it in IMAX yesterday. If you’re going to bother to go to a cinema, then why not splash out on the extra for IMAX?Ford v Ferrari.
Is it worth splashing out on the IMAX experience?

great film IMO and the fake pits they created from scratch at Road Atlanta looked pretty authentic to me. The Le Mans film with Steve McQueen bombed at the box office as it was all about the racing, with no plot or dialogue. This is the opposite and should appeal to a much wider audience.
