My brother has had one for maybe 10 years, replaced everything on it, worse than any Alfa he's had for sure.Audi Allroad. The exception to the rule that German cars are reliable.

Thanks for heads up - we'll keep our fingers crossed we get back okay - we're about a half way round our 3k jaunt - SI please noteTo me thats a sign , change the F1 relay now and check the hydraulic oil level , contacts either on the F1 relay ( similar to the old type points )are getting iffy , or the F1 pump contacts are getting iffy , be prepared to change the F1 pump , there was one on here for sale quite cheap not so long ago
Pinkies crossed for you it holds out until you get back , these are the exact early signs , when it starts dropping out , happened to me about a dozen times before it actually went in the pit lane at Goodwood track day some yearsThanks for heads up - we'll keep our fingers crossed we get back okay - we're about a half way round our 3k jaunt - SI please note
Fluid was topped, pump is new, relay I believe they have a spare. It’s probably just got hot. Relax and enjoy. Thanks for heads up - we'll keep our fingers crossed we get back okay - we're about a half way round our 3k jaunt - SI please note

I've had some rather lovely breakdowns over the years, to be fair. After ten years, today was the day my Defender fancied a go on a low loader. Suspect it’s turbo related - it went pop then fizz - maybe a pipe popped off but I suspect the turbo is goosed. It drove onto the low loader ok, but wheezy.
No phone signal, so I had to walk up a hill to phone the RAC. There are worse places for this to happen and I did enjoy an early packed lunch. Can’t see it on my phone but it’s somewhere down there by the tree line with the bonnet up…

I never spotted this until I looked thru' my pix - I hope Roary didn't either. So far he is a very happy car (apart from the odd rattle, squeek and creek - although he is being put through his paces)
Rob's a million times worse - I'd rather my beloved any day! That’s no way to talk about our Rob

Looks pretty though.
Hope all will be okay.
The joys as these cars get older and perishable items. It does look pretty most of the time, straight to SCC in Sheffield, was only a couple of miles away when the temperature suddenly started rising, parked with a puddle!
They're sure it's blown a hose it's just going to be getting at it.........

Hope you're back on the road soon.
Certainly do having been one for 45 years and still on the tools.Been promised next week but you know what mechanics are like!!
rad hoses are fairly easy to get to, changed mine to silicone ones and a stainless steel connection pipe as the normal steel ones do go rusty and pin hole eventuallyThey're sure it's blown a hose it's just going to be getting at it.........
