I'm aiming to be there for about 10am. Staying just outside Swindon tonight, so should have a 5 ish mile drive in the morning. Ill keep my eyes open for Maseratis en route.
Thanks again for the help with hotels by the way.
Its been a while, so I hope you guys are well. I am in Surrey for a month around this time, so I could have a run down to this. Give me an excuse to blow the dust off the old flying helmet!!!
I'll book the tickets now. Im only driving from Byfleet, which is literally a 1 minute 50 second drive apparently. Hopefully put a few more faces to names.
i could be up for this. Ill be in byfleet working for a week around that time. However, is there a section for Italian looking things, with German engines that are built in a shed? Any help would be appreciated.
Great project there Frank. Reminds me of a Lancia "Appia" a friend of mine bought a few years ago. Sadly, that car had seen appia days. good luck. Oh, will a V8 fit?
I did bring a helmet Frank, but its a bit modern. I wont make that mistake again!! As for france, I suspect the French Rossers would take one look at my car, and invent a whole new book of traffic offences.
Echo the above really. Thanks to everybody for the welcome, both here, and over the weekend. Myself and Bern had a really good time, however, I will enjoy the next one more if its warmer!!! Thanks again to all of you.
Thats good news about the weather.I was keeping my options open for saturday. Either park up near the Ace cafe, and bring the car round, or park at the hotel, and blow the cob webs out up the A40. get some wind in my helmet, ahem, so to speak. I know which I'd rather do. 26 miles should be fun.
here goes: Andy to start: prosciutto di cinghiale. Bernice to start:Avocado con formaggio di caprino. Andy and Bernice main: Stinco di agnello alla ciocnaria. Hope this all makes sense.
