My dad did his national service in Germany driving tanks, 1952-54

Ran out of coffee so went to buy some from the German shop off base, none available and none coming anytime soon, when he went home on leave he spent all the money he had on coffee bought it back and sold to the the Germans , when he got paid he sent the money home and my grandma sent him coffee

When he left the army he had enough money to buy a new car

In the 60s he found out the old tic tac toe machines had a design flaw, you put your 6d in, let the handle click back so many times and you got a free go, by the time they found out there was a design flaw he had enough to buy another new car, I remember this one, it was a blue V4 corsair.
