London Classic Car Show (Excel) 8th-11th January 2015.

I've got my ticket. I was unable to attend the recent NEC Classic Car Show for the first time in years and so I thought I'd give this one a try. 30 minutes around the North Circ. and I'm there.

Was I the only maserati driver there.

Just the main runway. We went on the Sunday. As spectators, we could hardly see the cars parading at all. It was a madhouse.

The marshalling today was far stricter than in previous years. In the past there was a constant stream of cars coming and going over the bridge at Bridge. This year, there's none of that. I suggest you don't hang about and get in early. Though with the usual traffic issues on Sat/Sun I would...

Silverstone Classic and Maserati Centenary parade.

I managed 25 mph one year. Though, to be fair, I was usually deep in the pack. Hopefully, you lot will be right at the front and so able to get a move on.

You'll get in with no problem on Friday. I strongly suggest an early arrival on Saturday & on Sunday too. I well remember getting stuck in the Saturday morning queue one year. It was the year of the e-type celebrations. The day was hot and the verge of road to the circuit was littered with...

You should each have an order number. If you don't have one to hand, you can use the last four digits of the card that you used to pay for them and your postcode. You can track your tickets here: https://www.seetickets.com/CustomerService

My ticket and infield pass has arrived. The pass is on its way to young Mr Grace (one for the teenagers there). All I can say is that car dealers are ingenious!!!! :D

Notwithstanding being blocked in by other Maseratis, which, with a modicum of planning won't happen, in my experience, you'll be able to arrive and leave as and when you please.

Absolutely, Dicky. I'll not need any money. My entrance ticket is separate from the infield pass. (Though, if you'd like to send me that 3200 you're selling as a thank you, I won't refuse) Send me a PM with your address and I'll pop it into the post as soon as I receive it. :)

I've just remembered something. In previous years, I've always got three day passes for Silverstone. This year, due to holidays, I only requested a Friday pass. I'll check when it arrives to see whether there are restrictions.

However...................and I think that I posted this before. Although I think that it would be more difficult to get in on another car's pass on Friday, when it is quite quiet, I reckon that on the other two days it could be possible. Saturday and Sunday mornings, around 9-9:30am at the...

Silverstone Classic and Maserati Centenary parade.

I've had infield passes for my Hawk for the past five years. Problem is that in previous years, the windscreen sticker has had the car's registration number very clearly and prominently displayed, I'd be perfectly happy to post it off to the first person who PMs me through here. Though, any...

Just received an email informing me that my Silverstone Classic tickets have been dispatched. Including my infield pass for the car that I no longer own. :)

Silverstone Classic and Maserati Centenary parade.

Why is that? Two years ago, I took my then 10 year old step son around in my Stratos replica. Although I don't remember any restrictions, there's so many cars on these laps, I doubt any official will even notice who is in which car. Especially a saloon such as a Maserati.

He went into the corner far faster than anyone else. He had lost it well before the corner, IMO.

@Bobby Dandruff You really should reconsider your plan not to attend. It's a fantastic occasion. I've been taking cars there for six or seven years now. I wouldn't miss it. Indeed, even though I've sold my car and I was only able to go along on the Friday this year because of holidays, I'm...
