So have surveyed ordnance survey maps of the area and transport for London planned roadworks - the travel lodge, whilst not exciting - appears to be a safe bet.

Having worked in the area for some years, I can confirm that ditches (as well as canyons, coyotes, rock falls and tunnels painted onto rocks) are not prominent features. ;)

However I would assert that Euston is not really a nearby Travelodge.

There's one on Waterloo Road and another on Union St (10 minutes max) which are the ones I rather thought you meant

Booked for 15 under my real name (1) from 1730 in the bar area. I imagine I'll be there somewhat before so if you don't know my real name, you can ask me when you arrive ;)
