A long autumn weekend

Fellow members.

I had a chat with Robert (hodroyd) on the other thread and we agreed to organise a small trip, let's say a weekend, probably early this autumn. The purpose is just to make a small break from work for a couple of days. Therefore we suggested to be Maseratiless, meaning that we will use the plane and meet at a place near an airport.

Who would be up for that?

We're open for dates and places as well.

Some where Madrid, Venice, Ibiza, Rome.

Would also add Vienna or Geneva /Zurich

Let me know your thoughts.

Weekend of 7th September or after is good for me, but not before then. Was thinking of a trip to Pyrenees / Spain that month anyway, but anywhere in Europe is up for grabs...may see you there or join in by plane, depends on workload / where I am...just looking for some adventure!

Anyone interested if we all start looking around September / October time and see what cheap flights to where are available, stick them on the thread as suggestions, then we all vote on which we would like..!! Sounds like an idea to me..!!

Erm, I'm embarrassed to say 'mostly yes' If we want anyone to come to dinner, we're thinking about November now.....

Weekends are particularly tricky. Mrs Catman has commitments to choir and the 'football' club which means just about every weekend in both September and October are booked. November is possible I think
