Good to meet you too Dave, sorry I was leaving before we had chance to chat. Hopefully Bristol where I'll bring the QP.

Barrie - I forgot to say how impressed I was by the photos of your garage! Being a fellow garage-nut you see... :frosty:

Thanks Simon. If ever you are in the Dorset area give me a call and I'll balance your wheels to 1/2 a gram accuracy. Like running on rails afterwards. Pm me for my number anytime. Cheers

Thank you Barrie very kind of you to offer, may take you up one day when I treat the wife to a trip to the New Forest and Beaulieu.

Looks great a superb evening. Good turn out, good cars and a good mix of people from all other the country, not just incestuous southern a-holes, or whatever we all are. I was in Dubai last week but have put a recurring appointment in my diary for the Ace meets to help me plan better.

PS, what a view from that pub!

The pub is very nice Adam, was very impressed. Shame I only arrived 15 minutes before the convey left for the Ace :-(

I just realised we had at least one of everything at the meet - Ghibli, 3200, early 4200, facelift 4200, 4200 Spyder, GranSport, 4.2 Granturismo, 4.7 GTS, QP (think I saw 5 or 6!) and the new Ghibli. Fantastic turnout.

Would be nice to get some classics at these meets...and for the daylight to last a little longer

We would have had a brand new QP VI too. Unfortunately, it was deemed too large to safely be driven on the North Circ.

Disagree...it could, but would require an escort of yellow vans with Convoy Exceptional lettering...and maybe a tug to help it berth!

Great to meet some of you guys. Apart from the hour and a half to do 15 miles, it was a lovely evening. Made up for the traffic on the way back giving it some wellie on the A40 which was nice. The GranSports I saw were in amazing condition. As for the Ghibli, well not my cup of tea. I personally think all the older Maseratis looked better style wise.
