Great to meet so many new faces last night and say hi to a few more familiar ones!
A really good turn out from the SportsMaserati lot.

I've got to say it is dangerous coming to these things, I'm now down about £500!!!! Having been convinced to buy stainless steel bolts and get my wheels refurbed! Think it might have to wait until the house is actually built though!

I think the bolts are very high on my list after the critical stuff is done. (If there's any that needs doing)

Fantastic day out for me, met lot's of new faces but familiar handles, saw lot's of superb cars, had some cracking conversations, helped fix Mark's 3200, had some great food at the pub sharing a MEGA Starter with Dem and a few drinky poo's to wash it all down.....Wonderful..!!
Sorry I had to leave, but I had a 3 hour drive to face. Got locked up in a bit of traffic after I went for petrol, forgot to change the sat nav so I was heading back to Ace, quickly realised but by that time it was a bit late. Weather on the way back was very wet, loads of total tossers on the roads, but was able to open up now and again. Got home at 10.15 so that was a touch quicker than coming down, 2.45 hours and I had a quick pit stop within that time. I think I missed all the cameras..??
Great job with the photo's, well done..!!

Good to see you too Rob, and that is commitment, driving 3hrs each way from Yorkshire.

I snapped a pic of your monster starter:

Hahaha, that was to share and Dem ate most of it, with Peter helping too...!!!! Good picture Matt and it was a real pleasure to meet up again. That Wifi link tool to the iPhone, could you send me the details it could be handy to have..?? It would be interesting to know from Mark if the throttle reset carried on working..!!
Cheers

Sure, I just sent it to Mark too.

For the iphone you can only connect over WiFi to the ELM module so you need this one, and this only:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OBDII-OBD...iagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item3f2916e0a7

When you have that, you need to buy REV from the App Store for about £30

Then plug in the unit under the dash into the OBD socket (2001 onwards cars only) then turn the ignition on.

On the iPhone, go to Settings > WiFi and select VLink from the list, I cant remember what the code is but it will be on the box or on the device somewhere.

Then start Rev and go to Settings and Select the hardware: Kiwi Wifi, done then you can read your codes and get all sorts of gauges and live performance figures, its a brilliant bit of kit.

Next time you use it, it remembers all the settings and connects automatically.

Their not that expensive then..?? Do both of these identify what the code actually is, or is there a code guide that comes with them..?? I thought the idea of doing this wirelessly was good, as you can stand 50 yds away just incase the car blows up with a dramatic fault code of: DOOM, or BOOM..!!

They give you the generic code descriptions but some are manufacturer specific....a quick Google brings up the answer though, hence why its best to go for the iPhone version IMHO.
