Thanks for the photos, Nick. Looks like a great day - but too wet for an old git like me!
Unfortunate re the SZ - I remember someone planted a (105) GTV a couple of years back.
Track days are a bit of a gamble - once you actually get on the track you are amazed at just how wide a racing circuit is, with plenty of run off room, at least compared to seeing (just how wide are) F1 cars on tv. And you might start increasing your speed ......... until ........ you run out of talent!

I speak from (almost) experience- not of an actual accident on a track day - but I 'blew' an engine at Castle Combe once. The red mist came down and I tried just a little bit harder on each lap until the inevitable......

You at the Avenue in the morning.....got something to show ya ;)

Interesting day as always, many thanks to Alfaholics for opening the event and parade laps to all Alfa enthusiasts. Much appreciated!!
The water made the parade laps unusually challenging. ;) ;) ;)
A few pictures here but I'm unable to post my videos online until I pay Microsoft for a more modern computer operating system.
Whatever has happened to backward compatibility these mercenary days, or have I just answered my own question?

Some lovely cars on view and interesting to chat to the owners.
Good to see the Alfaholics car that did so well at Goodwood recently.

Be good to see you there Nick.

Good news is that Phil has put me down for the test hill so I don't have to hope for someone to drop out 'on the day' like on the last 2 years!
Not my favourite event (front wheel drive + no limited slip) as the car gets over-excited and tries to gnaw at the banking on the way up!!

Oh! I succeeded in uploading the unedited videos so everyone can view on the links below:
The one with the Alfaholics guys pedalling hard is impressive - turn the sound up to MAX.

Enjoy Y'all :)

I won't do the hill in the 33 for that very reason, too skittish on the front end, I would end up hitting the banks!! Funnily enough been ignored for the test track yet again!!

Nice pics, sorry I never made it to the track event - I don't mind the wet but the missus has no interest in getting soaked whilst old metal boxes drive in a circle.
