What a great deal and a stunning car.
Such a shame the brand is loosing die-hard fans due to their choice of direction.
given the price I may even look at how the same would work for me using my GS!
Wonder which question you were answering...lol..Yes.
I’d have a 4 seat Stradale at this price point, as I’d need the rear seats. We discussed the merits and negatives of the different possibles. Robert doesn’t require rear seats, so this makes a lot of sense. This is always the case; when 4 seats are required the options are GT Sport/Strad, Panamera and Rapide. When you’re happy with 2 seats (which is what a DB9 really is) there’s a lot of very very tempting exotica.
In some respects the GranTurismo and DB9 are similar propositions. I had a DB9 until a few years ago and loved it. But I love my GT even more now, since my sons can get in the car now that they're hulking teenagers. Definitely not possible on the DB9.I’d have a 4 seat Stradale at this price point, as I’d need the rear seats.

Are the residuals / ofp on a Strad about the same Dicky, or do Maserati expect them to depreciate more?

Or an FF.....
What an FF for 25k over two years? Really??Agreed but it’s not at the same price point, although it may cost the same over 2 years.
Ask @outrun, but I think not far off. What an FF for 25k over two years? Really??
I am sad that I didn’t feel that another Maserati Granturismo is where I could put my money right now. And that’s nothing against the GT, it’s a fantastic car and amazing value for money, but it would just have felt too familiar in any spec. Perhaps I will be back when the Alfieri arrives if it is good and special enough, although I can’t help thinking that a hybrid of some description will have to go some to beat a V12 that will be used modestly.
Apart from the car, it was the price to change and finance offer that sealed it, they’ve shown my QP at £20k but I got a significant enough chunk of their car to make me feel that I was getting enough value for the QP. Doesn’t matter to me how they want to show it.
And the finance guy couldn’t quite believe the monthly payment that came back based on the computer generated residual and finance %. It’s interesting that Aston can offer a finance % for used cars not so distant from new cars, whereas I’ve not had that experience elsewhere. I guess that must show that Aston are keen to support the used market for their cars recognizing that this brings new customers to the brand who may buy new later.
