Hey guys.
met a lorry driver on the ferry accross to france last night and we got talking about road trips around europe. he told me about a rally he does every year called " barcelona bangers ". anyone ever heard of this, anyone ever done it, anyone up for it.
apparently you drive from calais to barcelona and back in a car not worth more than 250 quid.
sounds a bit like wacky race's. if i can convince ros that she & rufus are penelope pitstop and mutley I have a team !!
all i have to do is find a reliant robin for 250 and I'm there.
anyone else ?

There's a very similar event for help for heros, saw write up on another site. It looked good fun and all for worthy cause.

I bought a Lada Niva a couple of years ago to do the Plymouth Dakar charity run, the year I was going to do it got put on hold, ended up keeping the Niva for a couple of years and then sold it for £250 what I paid for it.
