bargain?

Even for a lhd, that is alarmingly cheap. Prices of F430s have been rising a little recently, and coupes particularly so. A rhd car with those miles would be at least £70k, probably nearer £80k. Has the potential to be a bargain, but I'd suggest get somebody like Marios at Autoshield to inspect if you are interested

Lovely colour and I do like the rear on these cars but have always found the front to be a bit bloated looking to me which lets it down

Loving the colour......As above wouldn't let LHD put me off at that price...

You need to determine the exact status of the seller of this car. As far as I know, the seller has been bringing in a number of cars from Europe for sale in the UK which would make it a trade sale.

I don't have any info on the car itself as it has just been brought into the UK.

If you're prepared to do the work yourself then there are better bargains to be had in Europe. The last F430 I helped bring across was from a Belgian main dealer and came with a new clutch and 2 years warranty - all in it cost a touch less than £50k (including registering it here).

Listen to Voicey on this one. Ferrari legend. Just about every owner I've ever met knows him or knows of him.

I am actually in the market for a Gallardo Superleggera and have been looking at the European market. Just can't seem to bring myself to go for a LHD car.

But the saving compared to a RHD is significant.

If there is warranty do they cover the car even though it is in the UK? Do you have to make any other mods to make it UK legal?

I can only really say for Ferrari but a main dealer warranty is European wide and will be honored here.

There are a couple of routes getting a car registered and the best one depends on how old the car is. A lot of my customers like to send the car through an IVA as the road tax is based on engine size and not emissions (and thus pays for itself in a few years). Otherwise you need to get a CoC from Ferrari and get the car through an MOT. You need to ensure that the speedo has MPH on the gauge and the headlight beam needs to be flattened (in both cases).

PS: Thanks for the kind comments guys. If anyone is considering buying a Ferrari, especially a 360 or F430, then please get in touch for some free advice. I hold a database on these two models and have detailed notes on about 1/4 of the cars in the UK.
