Morning all.....

Now I have some of your email addresses wanted to start and get this one moving...

All, I spoke to John yesterday and he has given us two gates so thats more Maserati on track. John believes we will be over run with punters....

Anyway, latest comms from John below....

Well its just around the corner , I think you all have your passes ,if you haven't e/mail me ,
Chris and Myself would like to say thank you for this year , as we don't get time on the day , on your marks just wouldn't happen if it wasn't for people like you ,so again thanks ,
Now some good news !!!
PAT IS BACK , YES YES YES YES , THANK GOD "!!!!
The track will open at 09,00 Pat will be doing the team leaders brief at 08,30 after that you can pass on the information to all your other drivers.
We have also purchased 15 green 2.5 x 2.5 zip up gazebo's, so you will all get one in your gate with a table and two chairs,
We have also purchased 15 yellow traffic sign's to mark out the way in from the hotel and jun 20 on the M1 with Asda -On Your Marks emblazoned all over them , ( NO MORE BITS OF PAPER HANGING FROM LAMP POST'S)
No aircraft will land or stop traffic on the main track during the day. ( Except pulling the Dakota D.C.3 out of the parking area about 12,20 across to the grass runway for its display at 12.45 that should take about two minutes. )
Shut down will be from 12,35 till 14,00 so have a look at your queue's about 12,00 and inform people they wont get on the track. do you think the raffle tickets work , or just keep a close eye on it, some thought's please???
The wish gate will open at 14,00 , could I ask all the gates to send up one car for the wish gate at 14,00 ,might be a good idea to park it there at the shutdown at 12.35 so we don't have any argy bargee at the start of the second session ,

Amazing, I'm looking forward to the whole day. Guess that means two maserati for the wish gate, which is excellent.

I think it's going to be a fun day...I'm going to take it at my own pace, which is the best way to avoid doing something too stupid - but I guess I've set myself up for something now, haven't I...

Hadn't realised there would be a Dakota display. I used to fly a Dakota :)

That's exactly how I'm going to approach it. I've no idea what the limits of the car are, or indeed my own limits now. Haven't driven a car on a track for about 10 years.

Was vaguely toying with getting a 'Catman' number plate as well.
