Just one for your diary...Next years Brunty date for anyone interested, plus a note from John on the money raised this year...Well done all...
Hi everybody
It gives myself and Chris Goodwin the greatest of pleasure to forward this e/mail to all.
This year was an outstanding success with the largest support at the biggest show no one has ever heard off , On Your Marks is now the biggest one day charity show in the country with over 24,000 people all giving to charity at the same time, and this is Leicestershire's best kept secret .
The record amount raised at the show was £46,200 last year, and both Chris and I thought we would never be able to attain that sum again, well how wrong were we, we badly under estimated all of you, and how popular the day has become.
It is with the greatest of pleasure we would like to announce that at this year's show, you made a staggering £53,850 and that will be donated to the male cancer charity Orchid on your behalf just before Christmas , do you realise you lot have made over £100,000 in two years , wow!
So if any one says to you “what have you done for charity this year “ you can say you helped to make the amazing amount above.
Any of Your comments would be gratefully received by both of us, and the date for next year's show is the 8th august 2015,
