Right! Got somewhere! Anyone who wants to join the 100th Anniversary Parade on the Sunday may do so, at £10 per person donation to Children in Need, you may need to fill in a form but I'll sort that nearer the time. We have also been asked to put together a 'Maserati 7'. If you're aware of how Carfest works, they have groups of 7's, such as 7 Hypercars, 7 of Chris Evans' cars, 7 Group B Rally cars etc. The 7 Maseratis they'd like need to be as rare and special as possible and would need to be there for the full weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and would also receive free tickets and camping for the weekend. We so far have Nick Mason in his 250F or 350S, a Stradale, a 3500GT, and possibly an MCV. We therefore need 4-5 others who'd take their rare and special Masers for the whole weekend as be an integral part of the festival. Support staff and vehicles are allowed and extra passes can be obtained. Please email me at info@richardgracecars.co.uk or post on here if you'd like to bring a rare, special car. Please add your name below if you'd like to be there on the Sunday, all the weekend tickets are now spoken for.

Hi Dicky, did you see my previous post (shown again below)? I'm definitely up for joining in the Parade lap(s) on the Sunday.

Cheers,
T
Hi Dicky,

I'd like to join in the Parade Lap as well. I should already have passes to this event as I'll be going with Sporting Bears doing Dream Rides for charity on the Sunday. The driver's briefing for the event should be at 10am, so hopefully I'll be able to make it across in time for the Parade Lap. Alternatively I'll have to skip main brief and be briefed individually instead post the parade lap.

Cheers,
T

Thanks Dicky for sorting this.
Do you know how the parade works, do you have a day pass for Sunday (£10 per person, max 4 per car if a 4 seater), turn up with pass on the Sunday morning to get in, park in a dedicated area, do a parade in the cars, back to the dedicated area, enjoy rest of the day on site.
The Aston Martin guys did something similar last year at Carfest South, was fantastic to see.

I would've thought so but need confirmation.

If it was like the AM guys last year, after the parade all the cars where parked in one area for all to enjoy.
They can't expect you to do the parade, then bugger off off site thanks very much!

We'll done, Dicky! Mine's not remotely rare but I'd be delighted to be one of seven, otherwise Sunday parade lap please. Four passengers.

Thanks again!

Hi Dicky

I've already got tickets for the Sunday but would love to do the parade if you can put me down. Happy to contribute to CiN. There will be two or maybe three in my car. Cheers. David.

Just bumping this back up, only 3 weeks away.
Any news Dicky on collecting details of cars and the number of passengers for tickets? The Mrs is nagging me for details!!!

Just had an email from one of the SportingBears organisers about the Dream Rides for this event, so I think things are starting to firm up!

It's not me that's slack with organising, Carfest are really not great. I'll get on it again this morning.

Ok, all those going on Sunday will receive 2 passes per car. If you need more, I may have some spare. I will need you to email at info@richardgracecars.co.uk (not pm) with your names and addresses and I'll post the passes/wristbands to you next week. The passes will get you in and allow you to park with all the other Masers. They'll then give you access for the day too. All we ask is for a £10 donation per person for Children in Need which I'm responsible for collecting and handing over on the day.

P.S if you're going to Silverstone, it'll save me posting as I can bring some with me.

Didn't think it was you for a second!
Email sent.
Looking forward to meeting you and other Sportsmaserati members, let's hope for a good turnout!
