You do need to buy a ticket. You can get them from http://www.carsinthepark.org.uk/ but you need to do it before 11.30 tonight. Register as part of Leeds Supercars and we should all get parked together.

Mike Heathcote and I will be travelling with Leeds Supercars leaving north Leeds at 8am. If you want to do that then you need to register with them at http://www.leedssupercarmeet.co.uk/ and Jason will confirm details. Otherwise I suspect we'll be there around 9.30.

All very complicated!

Good turnout of SportMaserati owners today, nice to see you all, and from a very drizzly foggy start to the day, its turned out into a lovely sunny one with a great drive home.
Some great cars on show, from our marque (of course), down to those japanese things with the most strangest modifications. I'll add a few pictures in a minute!

Nice to come to a Northern meet and be able to put faces to names.
It was good to see a good number of Maserati in attendance.
The weather was favourable unfortunately I forgot to take any photographs.

I wonder how you wake up one morning and think "I know I'll improve my car by removing any ability to put anything in the boot including a spare wheel, then I'll bring the hot exhaust in there and cut holes in the rear wings to let them out and pull the fumes back in to the car..."

Suppose it takes all sorts!

Not only that - it's got no back seats and spits flames at unsuspecting passers by! There were some 'interesting' cars there including a Corsa VXR modded to put out 420 bhp and some very poor paint jobs. Some lovely cars as well (and a rather attractive PVC clad girl who was obviously suffering some serious chafing).

I'll post some pics later - I don't think I've got any of said lady though.

I missed the lady but did observe the bright orange Audi with some odd colour schemes going on with every component... !!!! Good to catchup and enjoy the sunshine even though I had a nervous breakdown on the way due to Engine light coming on... thanks to Benny and Marios for calming me down.

She looks easy to wash down ;0)

Yes, she was bending over the car in question only a few cars from us, and, naturally, it caught my attention through my peripheral vision.
Being a young lady, I pointed out the sight to Master Doohickey Junior, being of similar age, but of course the sight was interesting to a male of all generations.
At that moment more mature lady walked passed us and said "a girl bends over and all you blokes just gather round"

Indeed - lots of pics of on the CITP Facebook page. You can view here if you so desire.

https://www.facebook.com/events/560739580732956/.

It also gives you an idea of some of the stranger cars that were there including the Subaru spitting flames about a metre out the side.

Here are pics of some of the better metal IMHO. The Packards were beautiful and the Charger something to see and hear. I pretty certain I've never seen a Z1 in the flesh before as well.
