Just a side note to our comments earlier, you can buy aged cigars from Habanos, here is a box of Partagas Coronas Gordas Añejados that my wife bought for me recently, 5+ years of age - and it shows, they are a phenomenal smoke.

That is such a pretty box. What do you do with them when they are empty? Please can I have that one afterwards? Plus I can sniff it! I used to get a great uncle’s cigar boxes when I was little and I can still remember the lovely smell.

I just keep some of the empties in the attic, the rest get thrown out. You can certainly have that box but it may be a few years until it’s empty. I don’t smoke one box at a time but multiple different cigars and that particular box is rather good, so special occasion only mostly.
