I have just booked flights to Seville for early next April and will spend at least a couple of days in Cordoba, taking the train there. Thank you for the travel tip!I think Cordoba is one of the nicest places I've ever been , absolutely spotless , feels 100% safe no matter where you walk
National police are here with machine guns but you see those in Manchester these days
Cordoba is a mix of modern city and ancient town with narrow streets , bars, restaraunts , all done right

Thank you! I’ve gone squeezy jet and unfortunately (or fortunately) don’t qualify for the over 60’s deal yet on the first class rail deal I’ve used renfe to book local train tickets in the past and will use their website again. All very user-friendly.Book now with trainline and you can get 2 1st Class tickets on the AVE high speed train for £55 if you're over 60
Make sure you enter your birth dates for discounted sensor cirizen fares
Don't bother with the tourist hop on hop.off bus in cordoba , most of what you'll want to see is easily walkable
Just looked for a friend who's doing it the other way in March, fly in cordoba, fly out sevillev

I’m back from my Spanish travels and I thought Seville and Cordoba were excellent. Also managed to coincide dates with the Spanish FA Cup in Seville, which was entertaining. The air was filled with the scent of orange blossom and wee! The train and bus network was easy to use and I will be organising another visit probably next year to see Granada and Madrid. Thank you for your suggestions!Returned on Monday, loved every minute
Seville 3 nights
Cordoba 2 nights
Granada 2 nights
Madrid 3 nights
Immaculate high speed trains between all cities that ran on time , guaranteed seat €30-50 a ticket
Got back to the UK , train home Manchester Airport to warrington must've been 30 years old and filthy
On the avant West Coast to Edinburgh at the moment , loads standing , what a ******* joke our railways are
Aren't the trains fantastic , it doesn't seem like they're that fast until another one comes the other way and it's gone in 2 seconds at 400mph passing speedI’m back from my Spanish travels and I thought Seville and Cordoba were excellent. The high speed Spanish rail system is great. They have solved a lot of the integration problems by doing this:- (I’ve copied it)Can’t have fast trains here in case it spoils Fortesque-Smythes’ view of his field.
