Composer Laurie Johnson has died aged 96, amongst many others he wrote the themes for This Is Your Life, Whicker's World, The Avengers (old and new), Jason King and The Professionals...

As well as the main theme for The Professionals he did all of the incidental cues, the quality throughout is top notch.
