New event taking place at Newby Hall on 5 June being organised by AROC Yorkshire branch. I've been in touch with the organiser and he is keen to see plenty of Maserati there.

You need to buy your own tickets as per Cars in the Park but he would like some indication of the numbers that might arrive so stick your name down if you can make it.

Thanks for organising the Vulcan day and lunch David. A great day out had by all. We may need it to fly again in July if we go to war with Europe. Got the Spyder going now with a new battery. Sorry to come in a Z4 but I least I parked away from the Tridents.

See you at Newby in June

I could tell her we are going to visit a stately home and say oh what a convenience and I just happen to have a ticket

It is a lovely stately home and gardens! I think Darren (Wack61) used the same excuse with his better half and it worked for him.

I did that when we went to the Beaulieu car museum. We were on holiday driving past .... oh look car museum let's go have a look. Oh there seems to some event happening. Oh they have waved me into the display queue???

We better stay here the day then. Can't leave now.

Booked my ticket. Interesting that they have a separate entrance for pre-paid exhibitors. Should make it easier to get in than last weekend

A further bump to see if we can get anymore interest.

For those trying to persuade a partner that's it's worthwhile a large teddy bear collection has just moved into the hall. If that's their kind of thing ...

Only a few days to go. Bump to see if we can get a few more there.

Hopefully the weather will be like last time.

Looking on the website the gate opens at 8.45 for display cars and 10.30 for the public. I think that getting there for around 9.30 sounds about right to avoid the initial rush so I suggest leaving Wetherby services at 9am. I'll aim to be there between 8.30 and 8.45.

Forecast is for sunny weather all day so let's try and get more than 4 cars there.

I'd love to come but I have an appointment with 4 tonnes of soil, moved about 8 tonnes so far , it would have to be baking hot wouldn't it
