Last local meet of the year?

I spoke to a few of those at the Xmas bash at the weekend and said I'd attempt to organise a post-Xmas meet for the Herts/North London locals and anyone else who would like to attend. Suggested date is either 28th or 29th December. We did this last year and had a good turn out, so I'm proposing the same venue:

If I'm at home, the pub's only 15 minutes from me. However, the odds are that I'm going to be in Richmond. Can I just show up on the day? Or do you need definite attendance figures?
