Those dates are the dates of the International meet, which takes place each year, this time in Switzerland.

It's a good place to start, and will quite likely turn out to be that weekend, but this is a big anniversary, so there is a chance the dates could be extended or changed.

I should hear for sure after the Swiss meet, so after the 20th September.

No you're right Nikos, generally they're around the 3 weekend, but they do vary. 2010 was at the beginning of September as you mention.

This is why I wouldn't make any concrete plans just yet as per my post above.

30????????

There's 173 in the stats list at the moment...1 in 5 would be amazing! Hard to get that many people for that amount of time & expense but we have plenty of notice.

Lets get to work on our other halves, bosses and bank mangers! And detailers...and indie garages...gotta have Doris in perfect condition if she's going to visit the elder relatives!

My other half is already convinced she wants to go, but it'll depend on the bank manager and amount of leave available ;)

We've had some "discussions" about this, my line of argument ended up being ... "there won't be another time in my life I get to go to the 100th anniversary of Masearti, in Italy, in my own Maserati". That said I don't want a co-driver who does not want to be there.

We had planned doing some nice walks in Chamonix and late Sept doesn't work with possible the timing. Will wait till post 20 Sept for hopefully receiving the actual date

Sorry to hear that - we've also had some discussions, and I'm happy to report they lasted about 2 seconds. "The answer is Yes", regardless of when it is, what we do, came the reply :) Small unnecessary clarification was added - "So long as we aren't camping". Not a chance...

The only way to get Susie into a tent is for it to be selling Oysters and Champagne. Can't fault her on that, really.

Good work, Robert. I have found a 1 euro coin and 1 Emirati Dirham in my pocket. My wallet is home to 10,000 West African francs and a small moth. By the time I have had my exhaust dealt with (just typing that made my eyes water) I may have to contemplate a visit to the bank. Unarmed, by the way. Well, at first.

For everything else, there's Mastercard.
