With Jeanette giving me the green light to do this trip as a 50th pressie to myself but not wanting to go herself (she does get car sick on long journeys and seasick on the Woolwich ferry!), I have the go ahead to get myself a co-pilot

I have today extended that invitation and the recipient just needs to get clearance from their 'guvnor'.... They can announce the outcome in due course

FYI - I've been trying to discover about dates:

1994 - 80th Anniversary: 14-18 September (write up: http://www.maserati-alfieri.co.uk/alfieri198.htm)

2004 - 90th Anniversary: 17-19 September (write up: http://www.maseraticlub.co.uk/trident55.htm )

We can therefore safely assume it will be the 3rd week in September. Quite likely 19-21 September 2014

Probably slightly overkill Dem, when it seems quite likley it will be the third weekend in September. Just need to allow time to get there and get home.
