Multiple Car Cull

Well I've had these wobbles before and not pushed through with them. However the wobbles are getting worse.

With Covid and economy concerns also the likelihood I won't have too much time to enjoy driving cars too much over the next 6-9 months I have to be realistic and wonder if having 9 cars will be the best strategy.

I am also still wanting to scratch a V12 itch at some point so thinking a short to medium term cull could be prudent. Then maybe buying something a bit nicer towards the middle or end of 2021.

Likely contenders to cull will be the V8 Vantage, Alfa GT and....take a breath....my garage queen 4200. I really never thought I would ever sell the 4200 as I have been told by a few people now it is one of the best 4200's in the country and I am never likely to find another ever like it again. However times have changed and I think they will change a lot more.

Would I be mad to do this? What are your thoughts oh wise ones?

There is certainly some great minds on here.....just a couple :D

I agree...

if I were you I would sell some cars. I think it’s hard to see (m)any of them appreciating in value, and as you say, the opportunity to drive and enjoy them will be limited over the next 12 months.

so - do the sensible prudent thing now, sell a few of them, bank the cash, and more importantly earn brownie points for 12 mths time when you want a V12 toy!

I always work on the basis how much am I using them ?
I have always had several as they are my passion but since moving to France I'm down to 3 and feel a lot happier as they are all used regularly.
A V12 is a special experience and for me it was the 456 GTA and I loved it.

They wont be worth a great deal at the moment, as no ones buying!
Unless your short of readies, just leave it until next year

Dave
I'm not doing it as need the money and I don't think I would have an issue selling either so neither of those are an issue.

Not sure how leaving it to next year will make any difference. They will be worth less then and the preverbial would have seriously hit the fan by then lessening the possibility to sell further.
