Loving the blue on the GT...Looks lovely...

Out of interest how do you find the Brera after the GTV and GT...Always fancied a Brera as they looked stunning but the weight put me off......and the engines to be honest.....Drove a Brera S V6, the prodrive one, and it was the car the Brera should have always been but still felt heavy.....How do you find yours..?

That was Dijon blue, it was very impressive after I detailed it :D
The Brera is more of a GT than the GT and it still feels relatively nimble for a big car with a lardy ****, the 2.4 has plenty of grunt and makes a good cruiser.
The driving position and cabin layout still feels all Alfa and reminds me of the GTV, the Mrs loves it because it's more comfortable and better put together.

If I had the choice for a country road toy I'd probably go for another GTV Twinny :)

Thanks, the 156 SportWagon was 105k miler and 10 years old, it was a beaut and it cleaned up really well. It was only a 1.8TS but I put the leather in from a scrapper.

The GT I bought cat C'd and fixed it up myself, it was only 2 years old with 17k on the clock, its my daily driver while I muck about with more exotic cars as weekenders. Think I paid £4,200 for her delivered and spend about £1,500 fixing her up.

I still own the Opel GT, built it myself from boxes of bits.

Here are some of the Opel that I restored and still have lurking in my garage, some of the more observant will see they are from 2004 when I had just purchased the GTV 3.2 P3:
