Anyone going to Race Retro (24-26 Feb, Stoneleigh Park, http://www.raceretro.com/ )? It's not listed in the Forum calendar - anyone been to previous years who can comment on if it is a good event worth a visit?

Only 15mins from my house, I want to go but not sure if I can fit it in between family this weekend, please pm me your mobile Dave or Loz and I will text you if I can make it tomorrow afternoon.

Popped along to this today, nice to meet Dave, had a look at your QP parked right outside the entrance in its rightful place looking very smart.....some nice historic cars, JK and Rowan Atkinson were walking around the hall like proper petrol heads ....Not worth £25 though

I went along on Friday morning (been busy since so only now able to post). A pleasant morning, but I agree with you Andrew, a bit over-priced for what you got compared to say the NEC Classic Car Show. A couple of the clubs I know were there (MAC, BrooklandsTrust) so had a useful chat with them and a couple of the companies organising classic car tours which I might be interested in at some point; and a browse in the autojumble which secured a (repro) Maserati enamel plaque (I passed on the 1 foot high thermometer with a Maserati badge if that's what you want…). A few nice cars, a few nice recreations like Jag XK SS etc. But few is the key word... Not sure what market they are aiming at, but it was certainly busy enough so I guess they'll be back next year. No celebrities on hand when I was there…

Back from the show, good to meet you Andrew, top moments for me, was blagging it through the main gate, chatting to JK about his newly acquired, Short Wheelbase Audi Quattro.
He mentioned he'd Got some footage of him giving a QP some Beans.
Picked up a retro poster of the TT after listening to the classic bikes start up chorus .
All in a Good afternoon :)
