A very good day out. 15 cars of various hues. A brisk 70 mile drive across some of Wales's better roads to a welcome coffee at GYG Karting. Then there was a sprint event with a qualifier, 2 heats and a final race on a wet track, with twin engined, 400cc karts running slicks. Entertaining! To round things off, a blast round the EVO triangle. A very good day out. Thanks to all the SMers who ventured out. In no particular order; Blondie, Emtee, Fcz360, Enzo MC (sorry mate!), MAF and Arfa. Thanks for all your support guys, it is very much appreciated by Sue and me. See you at Christmas.

Also, thank you for your generous donations to the Bone Cancer Research Trust, we raised £350 today. A brilliant effort! Thanks again guys, you are all stars.

Home now after a fun 24 hours. Good meal last night, great run out this morning into Wales, superb outdoor wet karting/drifting and I also ticked the Evo Triangle off my list. Run home was good, made slightly more eventful by a meeting with a couple of boys in blue. Oops! As they bade me farewell one of them said "if it's any consolation, she sounded glorious at full chat!"

A great evening with fine company and food. The early start wasn't too bad and the blast over to the karting venue certainly blew the cobwebs away. Enjoyed the karting, mostly sidewards and the return, following Frank for some of the way, was swift and uneventful.

Big thanks to Ben and Sue for their hospitality and great that you raised so much.

Sorry to hear of your woes Mark. Nothing too costly I hope.

I'm hoping a driver's awareness course will take care of things. I've had a clean licence for at least 15 years, so my new friend in uniform seemed to think it will be offered.

glad all seemed to have a good time, wish I could have been there.
could not make it since I have to be in wick tomorrow at 9.00am............work can be a b*gger sometimes!
however, I was happy to make a donation and will happily double it if a pic of benny in a 3200 appears on here...........and I'm sure most 32 owners would be happy to donate to a good cause if we see the 32's "nemesis" where he belongs!!!
donation link below since the closet 32 lover would not post it :capricorn:

Glad you all had a great day and raised some dosh for Bone Cancer Research Trust. Ryan would no doubt have loved the day's events.
Real shame I couldn't make it, but I've been in Scotland today.
Thoughts are with you and Sue, Ben.

Take care fella,
T

I'm glad you made it! It was good seeing you and all the other guys again and we are probably going to do the same again next year. Maybe more will join us next time and turn it into a North West meet.
