I'm planning to take the QP to Santa Pod today & have a go on the drag strip! It's a public event, so should be interesting. I wonder how the Mazzer will do against all the Boy Racer Stuff ?

How do you 'launch' with the cambiocorsa/duoselect gearbox?
First gear, and simply put your foot down when the lights go out?
Can't see what else you can do.

Hold traction button till it goes off, put it in first then hold the brake for 5-10 seconds, then give it half throttle and the car will rev then dump the clutch, leaving two black lines where your tyres once were!

It should work on the GT though, not tried it myself

Surely that's not launch control, but simply the nature of a robotic manual gearbox? Turn off MSP and floor the throttle and the effect is the same.

My thoughts exactly. The main issue being no "control".
The Lambo has launch control: Engage Corsa, traction off, foot on brake, bury throttle pedal, revs build to 5,000ish, release brake pedal when ready and it'll balance the throttle and clutch to give slight wheel spin, maximum traction for the surface and will change up at the optimum revs through the 'box until the throttle pedal is released. Haven't tried it yet and it mashes the clutch.
