Loz, have you got any pics mate?

The website only shows the exterior really....is it plush enough being only a 3 star?

No, but maybe i could get some , the whole place is relatively newish as only built and open in 2006, when Miles and SimonM and me were there a couple of weeks back it was thought as a good possible venue , rates seem pretty good , need to find out if they can do a more adventurous menue than the xmas party menu , might take a visit over there tomorrow or Thursday

Lady Stig and I are pretty open on dates, so we will go with the flow, just let us know when and where!!

There is always Chateau Impney at Droitwich, stayed a few times and has loads of space and parking, set in it's own grounds.

Ok, I have had a nose around and found a great place just outside Silverstone which is pretty central.

If you look at the website, it has a row of Ferraris outside it and all the event rooms are named, Aston, Bentley, etc so motor themed.

We also have Silverstone up the road so we might be able to do Karting or make some use of the venue.

Its very very plush and I am working on a deal for a 3 course meal inc half a bottle of wine per head, all the usual Xmas tat and a disco in a shared room, and a room based on 2 sharing as a twin or double. They want £120 per head but I am trying to negotiate £100 per person. We might not want the meal, so it would be £55 per person per room.

Im at Whittlebury hall next Tuesday i think as im dropping the wife of at the Day Spa. No idea what the rooms are like but i can have a look. Spa apparantly is good.

If you would. We will be mixed up with the other parties or we can just sod off to an Italian and then crash to parties later.

looks spot on - I like the idea of a shared disco, will be good to watch Papa Urby on the pull :)

Matt,

Silverstone area is great for me, btw Lydias Daughter works in the hospitality at The Wing.. should be able to organise abut of karting/ gentle track time/ photos if interested?
