Drove home from holiday yesterday. St Ives (Cornwall) to Frome. 180 miles over A30 -Bodmin Moor, edge of Dartmoor - M5 to Bridgewater then A361 over the Mendips past Glastonbury. Took 5 hours s/be 3 1/2 so not too bad.
M5 was single lane for 30-40 miles. We witnessed some poor so&so jacknife an articulated lorry into the central reservation on the A30, very slowly so not hurt (no injuries other than a laundry bill! But the cab was badly smashed up). We kept going all the way until about 6 miles from home - a milk lorry jacknifed on a hill but just as we arrived the police and a tractor (farmer) turned up & cleared the road in five minutes! As I like to say 'the sun shines on the righteous' ( you might say 'the devil looks after his own'..............)
Keep warm and stay safe, folks.
Morning Nik
Annoying!
You need these things happen at the right time for the engine to start:
Fuel/Mixture
Compression
Spark
Exhaust
Timing
Vacuum (no leaks)
Work through them one by one and you will soon find your fault, good luck!
Morning all, been a Giulietta weekend
