What have you done to your Maserati today?

Just back from a 300 mile road trip down to Devon and a couple of nights in The Pig at Combe (highly recommended!). Google took us on some pretty awful country roads that were hardly anything above a farm track; a bit of a challenge due to mud, water and pot holes. Came back today via the Haynes Museum which I’d never been to. Only one Maserati on display, a nice looking Merak.

Gave the car a coat of Lanoguard and touched in bits where the under seal was flaking. The rear panel under the exhaust is next. The fixings - look exactly like the ones on my wife's Alfa GT, have all corroded. Any tips aside from drilling them out? MOT next week.

Wrapped the Headers, Fixed the crack in one of them, put new Hyperblocks in on both sides, got new valve gaskets in and now waiting for the new eninge mounts and later i will pick up the freshly sandblasted and powdercoated Subframe =D

Taxed it from April 1. I am £695 lighter in the wallet area.
Oh, bugger, well remembered!

Mine will be back on the road next week, at last. Today I received a box fall of lovely carbon fripperies, which will be going on first, though. Unfortunately it was me that received them; they were supposed to be sent to the place that will fit them in. Also unfortunately I got whacked for ******* sodding import duties and tax.

So we will both have some extra jewellery for LeMans then.

Normally that would result in everybody ending up in a French ditch, but we should be safe this year.
I had to read that twice i thought that was a B rather than D in ditch! And did wonder what precautions were to be employed!
