Whats your favourite Ferrari????

My favourite classic Ferrari is the Daytona and for modern Ferrari I would have to say 599 would top my wish list. At a more affordable price the 550 or 575 would do very nicely.

Love the Daytona, but love the Ghibli SS a whole lot more. Would have to go the obvious route and say the GTO. There's an article in last months C&SC. Stunning.

For modern I really am starting to appreciate the 430 (not spyder). Hated it at first, but it seems to have grown into its skin. A proper focused little beast.

Comparatively 'affordable' would be the 575 Superamerica.

Have to agree 575 firstly as its nearly in my price range or soon will be but my out and out fun ferrari is the 246 dino luvvem

As an entry level Ferrari I have to say the 355 looks incredible value for money and the 328 GTS is simply one of the prettiest Ferraris ever made. I could be tempted by a 355

For me and not thinking about the sensible things like maintenance mine is the 288 GTO as its pure Ferrari.

Fezzzzzza I never understood the love of the GTO......to me its just a 328 with a few cosmetic changes and a lot of power but then what do I know??????

Thats just it. Its a 328 that has been given the Halfords treatment, minus the fido dido sticker with MORE POWER! whats not to love.

as for the moderns - that is an interesting question.

like emtee, the 430 has grown on me - especially the scud - meridien have a slamming blue one.

but the 599 ...

what do people think - if the money fairy said you can have one ...

GTS The Scud would be more entertaining for a track day but once the novelty of that noise wore off I think you would be yearning for the comfort and sophistication of the 599 for everyday use

I like the 612, always thought the F50 was cool as well, a lot to do with them not being obvious choices. I'd also avoid red cars like the plague, not just for the same reason that they're common, I think the Enzo looks a lot better in black.
