I am indebted to Wiki for the following:

"In fluid dynamics, a Kármán vortex street (or a von Kármán vortex sheet) is a repeating pattern of swirling vortices caused by the unsteady separation of flow of a fluid around blunt bodies."

So, now I understand.

Your 'F1' tie wraps are nothing more than sighting aids, and the blunt bodies are the poor bl00dy pedestrians from which the aforementioned fluids flow when caught in your sights. Nick the idea from the Dambusters did you?

I was disappointed with the TdF. The F12's the only Ferrari I'm really interested in but I thought it looked a bit cheap and nasty in the flesh. I've seen a "standard" F12 in Bianca Fuji and thought it looked lovely but that left me cold. The chap who brought it's got an Enzo and Veyron too by all accounts. The Miura was smashing though and made a lovely burble. Nice photos, thanks.

Not my cup of tea either. It's no doubt a hugely competent piece of kit but trying way too hard in the styling stakes, although the design brief was probably light years away from the Miura's.
