Hi

Are you going to the WingsandWheels show and Dunsfold this weekend ? Home of Top Gear and lots of nice cars BUT.....hang on a minute. There is no mention of Maserati.

I could not see any classic Masearati's on the list of show cars in the static exhibition ! Is this my oversight. Surely Maserati must be represented in some form or another ?

More likely its a closed event and only sponsors can show cars ? Your thoughts ? I say get on the contact page and insist a Maser plot for statics..:tomato2:

Look at the list. NO MASERS :(

I'd make a guess at it being a Maserati Tipo V4 from 1929, but as only one was made, I assume it's a recreation.

Here you go Nick, courtesy of Enrico.

Looks like it's had further work between the two photographs, but certainly a V4 recreation.

Was that one of maserati's first steam prototypes there Miles, sure looks like a chimney sticking out the back, or is that one of the first snorkels

Bah that's it, I'm not having some phoney car as my avatar!

Haha, it's a ground up recreation Nick. Looks very faithful and must be worth a small fortune. Maserati made 1 V4 and 1 V5. I don't think either still exist, so it's a pretty cool motor and kudos to whoever took the time, and spent the wonga to create it.
