VWFS are doing some crazy deals on the current Golf R (300bhp, AWD).
£2400 deposit + £180 fee. then £178.79 pcm incl. VAT.
With deposit and fee works out at £6,692.17 over two years. Absolute bargain for a car of this calibre.
You can also spec it with a DSG and the price is £209 inc. VAT which is also great.
Excess mileage is 7p/mile so if you go over the 10,000 allowance then you will be charged the excess.

Easy and good value for it's price/length of ownership. Fast but not special in any way. You'd loose that anyways....if bought new..... selling on can be a pain, new one 2 yrs later....hassle free "supercar" driving really
P
I think we need a reality check here as £3500 depreciation pa is not a cheap car. You need to keep cars for longer to get value.
Have an S3 - fast but not special.
Of course you can, we could buy a Dacia Sandero for £5995 and run it for 20 years or until it dies and that is cheap motoring but let's face it most cars like that are dull. This is as good as a performance car you are going to get for very little outlay each month and a small ish sized deposit. Leasing isn't for everyone I get that but as this is a new car offers thread I thought this was a stonking deal and one I would take myself had I not just gone into a new deal a few months back!
In yours and mine eyes it isn't but for alot of people an S3 is the best thing since sliced bread so it is all subjective stuff. Most people are happy with a A3 or 118d and think they have made it but I guess we just set that bar a little higher!
the best deal I saw was on a vw up.....no deposit and £80 pm.....how can you go wrong? 3k in 3 years.....not bad
they not great for city?
