Spa Track Day 2016

I used Mannings for my TVRs and the Maserati. Track day cover was included, but with a £1500 excess for that.

This being my first track day, may I ask the more seasoned guys out there what are usualy the rules at such event and the duration?

Drew - Budget is £65K and we'll see what's in the garage then.....Matt has a z4mc and races a TVR 3000M which we could also bring. I'll talk to him, maybe we'll trailer that and do it properly.

Most important rule - don't have Robert behind you ;)

I'd recommend getting some track time first at a smaller track day before attempting Spa. How far is Bourg en Bresse from you? A day there could be fun :)

Bourg en Bresse is quite far, altough I could probably make it if I convince my wife to take the Maser next time we visit Switzerland
Is the track there any good?

Yes - great facility... It's about 2 hours from Geneva, so I assumed it might be roughly halfway between us.

Where's near you?

My advice - if you see a QP coming with smoking brakes, politely wave as he goes by....

50/50 as need to see what I got, spa is a proper circuit and needs something that will do it justice, hoping to have my Strad or GTS by then.

Just after an expression of interest at the moment, but serious interest. We can then approach the track organisers and work out suitable dates etc.

It's unlikely I'd drive a QP round Spa, on the same basis.

Yeah when I was there last the Porsches were doing that all day. Then on the last lap of the day he got too lairy and stuffed it into the wall on the left of the bus stop. Had to be lifted off the track.
