I know we have people reading this all over the world and have a forum for events.

Despite that, i also know that some the most knowledgeable and dedicated owners are on here too.

I have organised this event for the past three years at Hopetoun House South Queensferry near Edinburgh. Hopetoun is one of the greatest stately homes in the UK. It provides a great backdrop to the event.

In the past couple of years we had 350 cars and bikes as well as about 2000 visitors. It is a very relaxed informal day with no commentary or megaphones!

I love ALL Italian cars and bikes, so if you have a fiat Panda or Ferrari Enzo your welcome!
The event is for fun chat and just admiring the cars and bikes. All proceeds are either kept by Hopetoun or given to the EColi charity HUSH, which I have the privilege of being volunteer chair.

Our event website is:

http://www.italiancarandbikeday.co.uk/

Entry for exhibitors is £5 per car/bike, no mater how many people in/on it.

Hope some of you like the idea and come along. I know there will be quite a few up from England with their cars. If any of you are over for the Edinburgh festival please come along and have alternative culture!

This is a great day out and well worth the journey, not just to see the cars but the setting is fantastic as well.

Hope it goes well Paul, alas I won't be there as I have relocated to NI but when I did go it was always really enjoyable.

I will be offshore, a pity, as I've been before, and was a great day. More so now that I'm back in an Italian. Maybe I'll let Mrs Allandwf take it down... perhaps not!

Paul,

Do we have to book in advance for this or is it just a turn up on the day job ?

Cheers

Guys

For those attending:

PLEASE be nice when your driving through the housing estate up to the House.

PLEASE put some details of your car on the dashboard so people can read about your car

PLEASE tell the staff you are from FC or that your car is Italian to get to the special car park. ( a rocks throw from the porker parking

PLEASE come along and push any Italian car needing moved!

PLEASE be nice to the children and in particular the Sea Scouts who are giving their day up voluntarily

Thanks
