Meant to ask Rob, did your boxes have spare batteries in with them (under the moulded liner), I was going through mine, pulled the liner out and there were two spare batteries with clips on them! Tink I got a bonus result there

This wasn't quite what I meant by my recent post lol. The reason I posted about people offloading their radios, was that the feedback initially was that it was a lot of money to spend on a radio if it was going to only be used on this one trip. So in an effort to persuade those getting a radio to all get the Mitex General UHF 5W ones was that it would ensure that they were all compatible with one another, and that we should be able to sell them on (minus a small amount) to SCD members as they use the same radios.
However, it seems as though the radios were such a success on the SM Centenary Trip that there's now a demand for them on here as well.

If anyone wants to sell their radio from the Centenary trip, please post in this thread. That way others (like Mark, Phil, Damon, etc) can put their name down for one.

N.B. I'll let the SCD guys know that any radios from SM members are probably all going to be taken up by other SM members.

I suspect my radio will end up sitting in a drawer for ever and if there were another trip then can either borrow or buy new and then resell again. So I have one to put in the pot with charger - only used on the centenary trip. Not sure if T is running a list on first requested basis but would be better from my perspective with an agreed cost that is same for everyone.
