They will work out of the box and if others have the same make and model they should too, just if anyone was unsure if they had another type.

For anyone interested in obtaining a handheld 2 way radio, for such as the Centenary Trip, other SMF group trips etc..??

Hi everyone,
Hope you all enjoyed having the radios on the Centenary Trip; they certainly provided additional entertainment (c/o Benny, 'Thelma & Louise', and co.) as well as hopefully proving useful as well.
As half expected, new SCD members are asking about these radios (as the Mitex UHF General are the ones SCD use on their excursions). So I mentioned that a few might become available from members on here. Does anyone want to offload theirs? If you only paid £120 for two (or £60 per radio) as per Robert's posts in this thread, then you should be able to get you all your money back (or close to it)... anyone interested?
