Are you able to test yours to see if it works with Ben's and my UHF General? Not sure if you'll be at a meet before the trip(?)are these compatible with other brands ? I already have 2 walkies which I was going to bring - take it not worth it now ?
Benny if not already taken up.... would like to see if I can borrow one of your spares ?

they are motorola UHF with 8 channels however only 8km range (line of sight). hopefully at this weekends one depenant on weather

I'll put my name for an antenna too, and I've just paid as well.
I have the facility at work to test anybody's radio to test ascertain frequencies, power output etc. Even match antennas to the radio to ensure maximum power output (low VSWR)
