Spoke to DFDS Ferries today about the fuel issues and they said there are no reported shortages and they have a zero fuel can tolerance.

Exactly. Unless the battery needs a kick in the crackers (which we can deal with - I have a tiny booster thing in the boot, which I must assume works) then they will quite rightly shrug, spark up another snail and go to lunch. And I'd prefer it that way.

Yes, a Mitex one from Maplin. Order now. Delivery is 3-5 working days. Also suggest a toll-tag, but ot may be a bot late for that. And a toothbrush. I think that's it. Link a few pages back. Hold on, I'll find it.
