I can only answer the fiscal side of the question as I did if the property market remains as is or rises ever more stupidly. The down side of that is if we do move it will need to be away from London at least 20 miles to make it worthwhile, 30-40 miles would be even better but would be a pain for working.
As far as riches in life go, I am truly blessed, five grown up children, two grandchildren and likely many more. Many great friends here and elsewhere to add to that. I would say however that it took me at least till my 40’s to start to realise what life was really about and what true wealth is. It isn’t bricks and mortar or folding money that is just a drain. True wealth is your health and family.
Life: drive it like you stole it and arrive at the pearly gates sideways, in flames and yelling “what a rush, can I go again!”
