I certainly didn't get away with it. Missus definitely noticed and says I have now ruined the only car she liked that I owned to date. Needless to say I haven't been sleeping well since that day ;)

Lol same happened to me when I modded the M5, she refused to get in it let alone drive it! Now she loves the 3200 sound! Yours sounds great Dean!

The 'War Department' would have my nuts if mine went any quieter. Seems to me, it can only get noisier; just like the 'War Department' herself! ;)

Wouldn't even attempt a stealth job. Although she doesn't want the car any louder she is also a bit of a petrol head so would instantly notice any changes. I get away with having two silly cars so don't want to push my luck!

I have always been sold on it Ian! I had the loudest M5 in the country before the Maser so I aim to have the loudest 3200 next!!! :D

I think you already have the loudest 3200. Is Benny going to compete in the 3200 or 4200 exhaust discipline?!

What M5 did you have Phil....E34, E39 or E60?

I think the 'war department' likes the exhaust drowning out the annoying squeaks coming from the driver's seat!

I have no idea if Mrs MAF didn't approve of my latest exhaust mods - I can't hear a word she's saying!

So long as it doesn't have a negative effect on the 'entertainment department'
