Given the 'hippy' nature of the stalls and tents in the square I was surprised it was not coned off in parts...I expect it will be blocked soon as the parking is getting dangerous.

Personally i think if the Council were to ban it or something similar i think they would be daft. Reaction to my pics of forums and facebook it is a car meet that not only the rest of the country are jealous of, alot of Europe is too :)

Great morning. I agree that there is a danger of it outgrowing the venue.
I have some sympathy with the food festival people - they (presumably) have paid for the venue.

There is of course the Haynes Breakfast Club- which might take some of the pressure off (at least those of living 'sarf' of Bristol).

nice quality pics Nick. It was a nice meet up. I particularly liked that old Colt and the Arbarth Trofeo.

This is on tomorrow, anyone going?

The Avenue Driver Club, the official group has cancelled due to being under scrutiny from the Council and there is a music festival there. They have moved it to the 19th, next Sunday, the Queens Square breafast club group on fb, the idiot that has tried to take over , there page looks like they are still going so could land up in trouble soon........ :(

Due to complaints from those who live there.
Cars doing burnoffs
Parking on the pavements which are nkt constructed for vehicles
Litter
Noise

Simple fact it has grown so large for the venue.

However I cant see how the council can do anything except enforce the current bilaws or pass new ones.
