it would be good to meet you all so if weather is OK and spaces I am in :) also in for a t-shirt - maybe SportMaserati type on the sleave will look good

do we have a pot to put towards for hampers ?

Might be a good idea to raise this again, now we're getting closer.

I was going to get some shirts made up, so lets get some numbers.
If you want a shirt, add your name and I'll get the costs this week if I can.

As for hampers, we were again going to try and organise something. We could simply all do a bring a dish kind of thing...

A logistical question, but can we get enough 'gates'?

What happens with a big club is that you have a certain amount of cars on the gate at one time and then swap about I believe....

No info on times etc yet but should have more info over the next few weeks...

Do you reckon we could get more than one gate? We couldn't get the 'punters' in the cars quick enough last time around, so if we could get a couple of gates the takings would increase I think.

thanks Andy and very welcome - for me doing stuff I like for Charity is great


just a few questions
- maybe missed it but what is the entrance fee ?
- will we be provided with a pass ?
- do we need seperate insurance as its not racing but is on private land ?

Its £5 if m memory serves me right.

You will get a pass for the day....As soon as I get them i will email everyone.

Insurance is up to you.....would not imagine many take it up...Because its by invitation only you don't have to wear helmets etc also.......

Think it's gone up...this is from an earlier post, not sure if its the donation we need to make that's gone up or the entrance for the "punters" or both...

"It is with great regret that we will have to change the entry donation per car to £10.
The cost of everything has gone through the roof and we have managed to keep the price down for the last twelve years. Everything else inside the show is still based on a £5 note."

All, I now have the passes for cars on track and for spectators........

Can I ask that you all send me a private message with an email address please and I will forward you both. Ou can then print of and give out to family etc if they are coming along.

There is no charge for exhibitors...thats you...but £10 for anyone coming along for the day.....

Gates open at 8 but just waiting for John to confirm thats the time you need to be there.

John has said that if there is a large amount of you staying the Hickley Island he will provide Maserati parking so if any are staying and its lots of you let me know.

All, you need to be at Brunty for 08:00....The brief starts at 08:30....

I have 13 PM's so far so getting there...Keep them coming all. I will send out the info on Sunday when I have a few more replies then put up a list of who has confirmed.
