Newton, if you need any help then please shout. You've helped plenty of people on here including me, so if the car needs a forum day or whatever to get her back to proper order I'm sure we can organise something.

That's a really great offer Mark, I'm not sure how practical that could be but who knows....

I will at the very least drive up there in something to the hotel and jump shotgun in a spare seat with someone; I can at least help to run one of the gates and get to wear the T-shirt :) I may even get some laps in other exotics :D

For anyone not staying at the Hinkley I think we are trying to meet up there in the morning and travel in together...

hi newton
You have got to make it mate , get the old austin out and get hear somehow, just heard , we are going to have the honour of seeing for the first time since, well it all started in 1947 when three beech 18's (quite big twin engined war planes) were flown over from the states and landed at prestwick , they were all sold and were dispursed around the country, they have not been seen together since, all three will be at brunty on the day in there brand new paintwork , and the pilots are talking about a new display team for next year,

Newton, if you need a lift just shout.

And if you fancy taking mine for a spin (it spins well, you might remember from the wet handling day) you will be very welcome.

What time is everyone leaving from the hotel? I'll come down to the hotel in the morning for the 'convoy' in, rather than going direct to Brunti'

Guys, I'm humbled by the kind offers, I'm happy working the gate and let's see how it goes on the day, I'll get to the Hinckley hotel and jump in any spare seat that is going :)

Newton, I would imagine there will be no shortage of offers. Certainly, I'm happy to let you have a spin.
