Guys, is anybody interested in a great day out next Sunday (30th)? There is a SuperCarDrivers event at an undisclosed location in the Midlands. As part of the event we are trying to get one each of the modern Maseratis for a photo shoot and at present we are short of an MC Strad and a 3200. If you pm me i'll get back to you next Thursday. Any other of the more unusual cars, old Ghibli, bi turbo etc might well be needed too so please drop me a pm. I'm sorry that all volunteers might not be required but those that are will see some very special cars.bthanks guys.

As a taster, there is likely to be a P1 and maybe even a 918 (The owner is scheduled to be taking delivery tomorrow). Oh, and a Veyron and upwards of 150 other Supercars various!

I PM'd Blondie regarding his Stradale for this. Haven't heard back yet, but fingers crossed!
I was talking to Adam about this the other day (prior to the email he sent out last night with all the details of the shoot), and the shoot should be awesome! :D

This is one event not to be missed! This particular event (their annual Secret Supercar Meet) is normally exclusive to SCD members, but they're making an exception for this Maserati photo shoot (which was kind of my idea as I asked Adam if we could do something special to celebrate Maserati's Centenary, so blame me for all this LOL).

In addition to the McLaren P1 Benny mentioned, there will also be a Veyron, numerous Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches, Astons, etc. And there will probably be a BAC Mono, Ariel Atom, and maybe even a KTM Crossbow as well. Graypaul Nottingham (official Ferrari/Maserati dealer) are also supporting this event.

P.S. There will be absolutely no pressure or obligation to join, so just enjoy the day :D


Please either PM Benny or myself (or preferably both) if you're interested. As Benny has previously stated, unfortunately not all all those who volunteer will be guaranteed a place (depends on who volunteers etc.)

Being based in the Midlands myself I am keen to attend as a spectator.

Is this a closed event or can I turn up & attend?

Not all SCD's events are invitation only, but this particular one (their annual Secret Supercar Meet) is. What Maser do you have? (We're still missing one or two models.)

I have a QP V which I think is already in attendance.

Not necessarily looking to show, happy to do so but probably not required.....?

The QP V hasn't been mentioned (as such). Graypaul Nottingham however are bringing along the new QP as well as a Ghibli. But based on previous shoots (length of time to organise cars, number of cars in shot, photos of any model specific styling cues,...) it sounds as though we are going to have to limit the numbers on this one, i.e. previous gen QPs won't be included. I'll let you know if they change their mind on it though.

Sorry about that. But thanks for expressing an interest. A load of the SCD members' cars (mine included) will be at the Silverstone Classic, so you can always take a look at some of them then if you're going(?)

Awesome :D Yeah, hopefully. My GranCabrio MC will be parked in the SCD section in the morning, but I'll be parking it with you guys in the afternoon post the parade lap. If you see me, feel free to pop over and say hi, and I'll endeavour to do the same.
