An hour to an hour and a half depending on the chicken size. I normally crank the heat up at the end for 10 mins to crisp the skin. Then let it rest in foil for a good 20 minutes breast side down. Gets it nice and moist........and we all like a moist breast

Because you may as well take the oven outside. Charcoal adds so much flavour to the food. Gas is just meh...Can i ask why wont cook with gas ..........................is it an eco greta thing
