Living locally, I can say that there are a number of good pubs where we could go for lunch, however few with spacious car parking spaces - we dont want dings!

I will give some further thought as to the better contenders, and post them for your perusal.

BTW - I will indeed be posting some pics - as soon as I work out how to do it :)

Thanks mate, Ill leave it with you.

How to post pics:

1. click the pic icon on the editor toolbar:

2. You will note there are 2 tabs, one to upload a file from your computer (default) and a second tab called From URL. You can paste a link in here and it will grab and store the pic for you.

Food at the 3 Crowns in Brinkworth used to be awesome, but have heard reports that its gone downhill, since the owners changed.

Weighbridge brewhouse - seems to be the place these days. Plenty of parking aswell.

Also the Sally Pussey pub.

Alternatively you have a few good italians - Bottleinos comes to mind with a big car park.

Or if you fancy an indian - The Burj at Foxhill Wanborough

Manor House at Castle Combe is not to far away, and Alfa Holics have a track day on at the same day

The Bell at Yatton KeynEll is pretty good and has a spacious car park at the rear and is very close to Castle Coombe.

Or if you feel like some seriously good food the Methuen Arms in Corsham is superb - we are having our wedding there - they have a huge car park out back.

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and not too depressed that Spring hasn't sprung yet! Latest update on `The Copse` opening morning on 13th April.....

Numbers are looking great so far, I reckon we've got around 26(ish) looking to attend, and we'll be putting on some coffee, danishes etc, and just a general `meet the team` and have a tour of our lovely facility!

We are planning on 10.30am - 12.30pm, so coming in anytime between then would be great and it would be great to meet you all!

We hope that it will be a great day too! :)

I'm going to be out of the business up at Maserati HQ the rest of this week, so if anyone has any questions or queries about the event, if you drop natalie.summers@dicklovett.co.uk an email, she'll be able to assist.

Thanks, and look forward to seeing you all on Saturday!

Does anyone with some local knowledge know of a half decent B and B or Pub within range of Dick Lovett's? Any help would be appreciated.

Plenty in wotton Bassett I would think. There is a hotel adjacent to the place I believe - I think it's a holiday inn.

Depends how much you want to pay... The Hilton Hotel is just a couple hundred yards away and I believe is generally at reduced rates over the weekend. Give it a try and let me know if you need other alternatives - cheers.
